Springs Road cellar door stands sentinel on the top of a hill at the end of a long driveway off the Playford Highway. It’s officially in Cygnet River, about 7km west of Kingscote. Turn off the bitumen and onto the sandy track. Come up the hill past the sheep paddocks and vineyards; watch out for the chooks and guinea fowl. When you reach us at the top, take a moment to admire the stunning view east over Nepean Bay. With our delicious wines, a large deck and the amazing view, a visit to Springs Road cellar door is an essential part of any trip to Kangaroo Island.
Enjoy a guided tasting of our estate grown Springs Road wines, which are made using grapes from the vineyards you pass on your way up to cellar door.

little island encounter at Springs Road Kangaroo Island on the June Long Weekend 2023
Join us at Springs Road Wines on the long weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023 from 12 noon to 4pm to taste our Springs Road and little island wines and enjoy some lunch. Our aim is to source as many ingredients from KI as we can and everything will be hand made. Fires will be lit in some old barrels, and Joch and Louise and the crew will be on hand to talk wine, vineyards, organic viticulture, local produce, politics, religion, and the state of popular music.
