Make Your Way Back to Kangaroo Island
How long has it been since you visited KI? Now is the time to make your way back to this magical island and visit us here at Springs Road Wines in Cygnet River.
We can’t wait to see you here, and welcome you to our cellar door. Come up the driveway from the Playford Highway (opposite 761) and you will see the vines, some sheep and masses of chooks. Watch out for the black and white rooster, he has no car sense whatsoever. See you at the top!
If you are cruising back from the north coast and are on Springs Road, you can pop in the back way at 183 Springs Road. All roads lead to Rome….
What to expect when you come and visit us here – a little tour:
A Bird’s eye view of the Vineyard and Cellar Door
As well as our Springs Road wines, we have some ‘Guest Stars’ available from our sister winery Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines in McLaren Vale – the ‘Gypsy’ Blanc de Blancs, the Bosworth Sauvignon Blanc, the Spring Seed ‘Poppy’ Pinot Grigio, the Spring Seed ‘Morning Bride Rose’ and the Bosworth ‘Puritan’ Shiraz.
We also have the Bosworth Pale Ale, too which is made using organic grown barley that was grown in the paddock in front of our winery at Willunga. Feeling a bit pecking? We have nibbles from Second Valley Cheese, Little Acre Foods, Ashbri KI and D’Estrees bakery. See you there! _______________________________________________________________
Springs Road cellar door is located on the vineyard off Springs Road, but accessed opposite 761 Playford Highway, Cygnet River KI 5223 about 7km west of Kingscote.
We have a long winding driveway which takes you through the property past the sheep and the vineyards up to the cellar door which we built onto Roger’s enormous shed. Cellar door looks south east over towards Nepean Bay. We have a deck and a terrific view.
